Updated Ridgeview Veterinary Hospital Admittance and Check-Out during COVID-19 (Coronavirus):
Veterinary care is an essential part of our community and we want to assure you that our hospital is open and will continue to provide services at this time. We also want to work with you and our staff to limit direct contact in order to focus on safety for everyone during this pandemic. We ask that you follow the below steps for the safety of all:
As we gradually reopen our doors to our clients, our highest priority is to be mindful of protecting the health of both our staff and our clients. Due to this concern, we have implemented a few policies to strive to keep everyone safe.
Beginning June 8, we will start allowing one (1) client to accompany their pet(s) during their doctor exam. We request that you call our number (505)662-7444 when you arrive in our parking lot. The continuing road construction is affecting our phone lines. If the phone lines are busy, please keep trying or notify a staff member.
Surgery, drop-offs, and dental check-ins and releases will remain curbside. Suture removals, drain removals, anal gland expression, laser therapy, SQ fluids or other procedures being done with a technician will remain curbside.
Pets being dropped off and picked up for boarding will remain curbside.
For appointments with a doctor:
Clients will now have the option of being with their pet during the appointment. However, to prevent overcrowding in our hospital we will call you when an open room is available and escort you into the exam room.
Face masks will be required and are not provided. Please provide your
own face masks.
We request only one (1) person be present with the pet during the examination. We will continue to offer curbside appointments for those individuals that would prefer not to come into our hospital or do not have a mask.
Thank you for your understanding, patience, and continued support.
If you are not feeling well or may be at risk of exposure to coronavirus, please ask a healthy friend or family member to transport your pet to the hospital on your behalf. Please notify us before coming of any potential exposure to coronavirus.
